The short version
Pace Calculator stores no run data on the server. Your runs, times, goals and notes never leave your browser unless you explicitly download them.
Run data
Nothing is sent to the server. Your runs are processed entirely in your browser. The CSV file lives only on your device.
Anonymous visit analytics
If you accept the analytics prompt, we record per page view:
- The page visited (e.g.
/) - Date and time
- Country code (2 letters, e.g.
GB) — derived from your browser's timezone, not from your IP address - Language selected
- Referring domain, if any
No IP addresses, device identifiers, advertising cookies, or personal data. We never store your IP address — not even temporarily.

On your device, the app also stores your logged runs in your browser's localStorage if you've opted into "Save in browser". This data never leaves your device and can be cleared any time via your browser settings.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Analytics data is processed only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Functional cookies are necessary for the site to operate as expected (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests).
Data sharing
We share nothing we collect with third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and object to processing. Because we collect no personal data, nothing on our side can be linked to you. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by deleting the pc_consent cookie.
