Pace Calculator
A free, privacy-first running pace calculator. No account required. Your data stays yours.
What Pace Calculator does
Pace Calculator helps you understand your running pace, set race goals, and track progress over time — without signing up, logging in, or handing over personal information.
How data storage works
There is no login, no cloud, no server-side database for run data. Everything runs in your browser. When you log a run, you can download your data as a CSV file and keep it on your own computer. Next time you visit, upload that file and your full history is instantly back.
This means your data is always under your control. Open it in Excel, back it up to Dropbox, edit it directly — it's a plain CSV file and it belongs to you.
What we don't do
- We don't store run data on a server
- We don't require an account or email address
- We don't track you with advertising cookies
- We don't sell data
Group runs
Running with a club, training partner, or weekly group? Switch the add-run dialog to Group mode and enter a runner's name with each entry. Once two or more runners share a date, a comparison section appears with a bar chart for time, pace, distance, or steps, plus a ranked results table. Everything still lives in your browser — no account, no server.
The Riegel formula
Race time predictions use the Riegel formula: T₂ = T₁ × (D₂ / D₁)^1.06. It's a widely-used estimate — not a guarantee. Fitness, course profile, and conditions all play a role.
